Me

Somewhere in the middle of all the madness and mayhem I went to get my hair cut. I have been wanting it chopped for a while but who has the time and I wanted to keep it long for J & C's wedding so i could do something cute like curl it. But when we got back from Logan I couldn't take it any longer so chop went the hair. I also dyed it which is not so unusual except for the fact that I went blond, I have never been blond so this is sort of new and fun for the summer. Erinn and Keara really like the blond color stating that now I look like I actually am their mother since I now resemble them. Little do they know that their hair was as dark as mine when they were born so I know exactly who they belong to.

Fourth of July

BIG day the fourth even in our little town on the mountain Craig and I took the girls to the little parade where the highlight is a toss up between the classic tractors (yes tractors) and the water trucks spraying the kids in the street. Then instead of going to the H.S football field for the fireworks we went to my friends house which was about a block and a half away to watch the light show. The girls wore their shirts that they made at grandma Sherri's house for the fourth, quite festive if you ask me.

Wedding

It was sooooo good to see all the cousins again the girls get a kick out of seeing them and I can't believe how big everyone gets in a year. All the kids looked so cute for Jonathan's and Chelsea's wedding it was fun seeing them all dressed up and pretending to be royal coming down the grand staircase like princesses and the one prince Harry.

WOW what a month

I know it seem like sometimes a month flies by and there is hardly anything to show for it but not this last month we have been on the go constantly and I still feel like I'm running. I keep wondering how the laundry gets done along with the dishes there must be a cleaning fairy in my house. Well after Keara's birthday was dance recital yea!! A whole year of prep for 90 min of dance.....priceless of course. Then not two days later the girls and I are off to Logan for my baby brother's wedding/reception (welcome to the family Chelsea Jo). Then back to St. George to play with Hannah for a couple of days then home. Craig mean while was back in Kansas City with 5 of his high school kids for a national Skills Compatition.

Home Party

You would think its St. Patrick's day around here the girls decided for our home party for Keara's birthday we would have an "Irish Feast" which includes; corned beef roast, potato soup, cabbage and soda bread. We normally have this meal for St. Patrick's day but the girls really like it so upon their request...
For dessert in stead of the traditional (because who are we to be traditional) strawberry short cake. Well at least its never dull around here.
Keara is going to take chocolate cupcakes to the preschool on Thursday though, so not to worry. (with pink icing).

FIVE

Yea Happy Birthday to Keara!!!
Five that's our new number and quite a handful it is. This year for Keara's birthday there were hardly any avocados, just one for lunch. However she got to celebrate twice once in the Phoenix-metro area (cause we have absolutely no restaurants here) and once at home with her "four family". Keara is a funny child i absolutely love asking her what she wants for her special meal on her birthday, what kind of cake she wants, and what she would like in the way of presents. I always get the most fabulous answers. This year she wanted crab for her dinner so we went to Red Lobster. She asked for an avocado cake but settled for key-lime pie and strawberry short cake. She still hasn't made up her mind on what she wants for her Birthday she tells me she just can't make up her mind. Isn't five great.
